He frequently used song birds to intervene in high adrenaline situations and violent confrontations noting that these highly charged combative individuals returned to calmness in minutes (as opposed to hours) when singing birds were situated within the proximity of both parties involved.

People at trade shows swarm around our canariums simply because the song and antics of the vibrant canary are both magnetic and engaging. This magnetism influences sales for that salesman or product demonstrator. Their booths get swamped with visitors.  Sales and inquires frequently double in this kind of an environment.
